El-Rufai to upgrade Rimi College
Governor Nasir El-Rufai
Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has promised to restore the status of Government College and Rimi College both in Kaduna as boarding schools.
A statement issued by Mr. Samuel Aruwan, the spokesman of the governor yesterday, said Governor El-Rufai made the announcement when he featured as a guest on a radio programme organised by BBC Media Action in Kaduna.
The statement added that the governor said boarding facilities for students and staff quarters for members of staff cannot co-exist with private dwellings.
He directed that all private properties within Government College, Kaduna be valued so that appropriate compensation can be paid to those with valid titles and planning approval.
