NNPC: Buhari seeks Kachukwu’s replacement

Four months after Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu was appointed the Group Managing Director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), the Presidency has started looking for his replacement.
Kachikwu, who was appointed NNPC GMD in August by President Muhammadu Buhari, has also been confirmed as a ministerial designate.
A source from the Presidency revealed that Buhari is looking for Kachikwu’s replacement as he cannot be a minister and still hold the position of the Corporation’s GMD.
